Chastity for Him

Chastity is a virtue related to temperance, which is one of the seven Christian virtues, and it is defined as refraining from unreasonable sexual conduct or romantic relationships. Chastity is usually defined within the moral standards and guidelines of a culture, civilization or religion.
Chastity comes from the Latin word castus, meaning “morally pure,” and to some religious believers, chastity is closely related to a sense of purity and wholesomeness. Some religious figures, including Catholic nuns and priests, take a vow of chastity so they can focus their thoughts on their faith.
